Registration Fee: Each guests' registration fee is applied directly to their workshop / event. It covers all material supplies and includes bottled water.
Minimum Registrations: To hold a class, we generally require a minimum of 4 registrations. If we cancel a class due to minimal registrations, we will contact you within 48 hours of the class and work to either reschedule or offer you a 100% refund.
Cancellation/Rescheduling Details: Up to one week prior to event: 90% refund for cancellation (or) reschedule for no additional fee. Less than one week - No refund for cancellation. 80% credit toward a rescheduled date, as long as you notify Marquess Studios within 12 hours of the event.
How to Book Your Party: Please fill out the 'Preferred Date & Time' field with 2-3 date options. Or, contact us first to confirm the date and time. Once registered online, a confirmation email will be sent within 24-48 hours confirming the date/time of your party.
Confirmation: Please confirm the number and names of guests 48 hours prior to the event. If guests are registering themselves (e.g. a Bachelorette Party, we will confirm registrations with the host).
Set-up: Host may arrive 10-15 minutes prior to the event for set-up. Please note that the building is locked on evenings and weekends, so you should text/call us 651-278-3538 when you arrive.
Guests: When guests arrive, we will ask the host (parent) to greet guests at the door and let them in. We will also have signage on the doors which will include our phone number.
Cancellation - More than 7 days prior to the event: You can reschedule at no cost or we will refund 90% of your payment (the 10% simply covers our credit card / administrative fees). We can also issue store credit up to the full amount (good for 1 year).
Cancellation - 1-7 days prior to the event: You can reschedule at no cost or receive a store credit (good for 1 year) for the entire amount with at least 12 hours notice and confirmation that we received your message.
Where is Marquess Studios located?Marquess Studios is located in the Greeley Professional Building, a brown 2-story office building on the south-east corner of Olive and Greeley Streets. Our address is 305 Greeley St S (Ste 300), Stillwater, MN 55082.
Can we bring food / beverages to our private event? Bottled water, music and a comfortable atmosphere are all included! Yes, you are welcome to bring cake and ice cream to the event space. We do have a kitchenette with a small refrigerator/freezer and basic serving dishes. Please bring paper ware, cups, etc. for your group. During warmer weather months, Nelson's Ice Cream is just across the street and some guests have purchased 2-3 quarts of ice cream for their guests right before the party. Bowls and fun toppings for sundaes work well, as do waffle cones!
